The concept of the Buzzzsaw was born at Discraft over 5 years ago, where our team sought to push the boundaries of disc design. The idea was to refine the Buzzz, a beloved staple in the disc golf community, by introducing a molding technique that enhances its performance. The goal was not just to reinvent the wheel but to polish it into something even more precise and reliable. Our team set out to create a disc that would not only meet the high standards set by the Buzzz but also offer a fresh experience for players of all skill levels.
Transforming the Buzzzsaw from a concept into a tangible product was a journey marked by meticulous development and experimentation. Discraft's production team tested various plastic blends to refine the disc's flight characteristics and feel. Initial expectations were high, but the actual performance of the Buzzzsaw exceeded even the most optimistic projections.
