This product is well designed. I had tried a competitors product and I had two complaints. 1. If the disc landed upside down there was very light visible. All the LEDs were on the top so only a small amount of light reflected to the bottom. 2.This item may seem small but it turns out it makes quite a difference. The old one had an internal on off button somewhere on one end of the light. You just had to keep pushing different places until you hit it.
This model solves both of these problems. The LED has a lens both top and bottom, making it much easier to spot when upside down.
It also has a white dot where the switch is. The background is white so this switch dot is easy to spot even in low light.
I play every morning and I am in the dark for about the first 45 minutes. It is great !
These make the biggest difference when playing in a tall grass or wooded area. My friends without lights are always taking much longer to find their discs.
