The XF is made with a thick layer of carbon fiber (0.5 mm), as well as the traditional woven carbon fiber on the outer layer, greatly increasing the strength of the pole, making it THE most durable retriever on the market. GREAT PRODUCT
This retriever has been great. I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first, but it's proven its worth and saved several discs.
Prospective buyers should know that the carbon fiber is much more flexible than their metal counterparts. This isn't a negative, just a difference that I learned. Very happy with this product.
