The Polaris LS is a long distance driver that is about a speed 8, straight and a little less stable than the JLS or Orion LS. It is one of disc golf’s best embodiments of distance with control. It can handle a crosswind, and downwind it’s always straight and true. The Polaris LS is great for all skill levels. It’s been a favorite of new players. Experienced players use it as an all-purpose driver and always carry one in their bag. You just can’t beat it.

When you need pinpoint accuracy off the tee, the Polaris LS won’t let you down.

Quantum plastic is our most durable plastic providing a long life of reliable performance. It’s also the most stable of all our plastics. Quantum plastic offers a smooth solid feel and an eye-catching translucent appearance. Some quantum plastics include ‘Stardust’ for a sparkly effect.

Straight & easy to shape

While this disc might seem to overlap with the JLS at first, I found a use for it. It accomplishes the same shots, but with its lack of dome, different hand feel, as well as a bit less glide than the JLS, I find this disc perfect for forehand. It might be my imagination, but it also seems more torque resistant than the JLS for forehand, although this might come down to solely getting a cleaner release, going back to it being a more comfortable sidearm grip, and lack of dome. If this disc feels good in your backhand grip, you probably don't need both the Polaris LS and JLS. Lastly, while I agree with the glide, turn, and fade numbers, I think the speed on this disc is probably closer to an 8. Underrated disc!
